On-site childcare
Adult guests are welcome to attend the ceremony with their children. Adult guests also have the option of using an on-site sitter to monitor their children during the reception. Care.com sitter Elizabeth Gomez will provide childcare services. Elizabeth is first aid trained, CPR trained, and a certified teacher in early childhood education and development. Like all vendors, she will adhere to the venue's health and safety guidelines.
When cocktail hour finishes at 6:30 p.m., the sunroom will be turned over into the childcare room until the end of the reception at 10 p.m. The sunroom has closeable doors, a large TV and DVD player, and a lack of breakable items. Board games will be available. The caterer will provide child-friendly Italian cuisine meals. Vegetarian options will also be available. The sunroom is a short walk down the hall from the ballroom and is accessible at any time.

COVID-19 health requirements
The goal of Castle Green is to create and maintain a safe environment for couples, guests, staff, and residents. Starting January 1, 2022, Castle Green will require all venue guests (aged 12 and older), hosts, and vendors to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status or negative COVID-19 test result. The City of Pasadena and the County of Los Angeles continue to increase required vaccination statuses for indoor venues.

The CDC defines fully vaccinated as two weeks after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines or two weeks after receiving the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.
Proof of full vaccination status can be submitted digitally between now and 72 hours prior to start of event (March 17, 2022, 5:00 p.m. PDT) or shown in person at event itself.

A COVID-19 test is defined as either a PCR test or antigen test as administered by a healthcare provider. At-home tests are not acceptable.
Proof of negative test result can be submitted digitally no earlier than 72 hours prior to the start of the event (between March 17, 2022, 5 p.m. PDT and March 20, 2022, 5 p.m. PDT) or shown in person at the event itself.
If showing proof in person, please remember to bring your record card or negative test result, and personal identification.

Elizabeth and Richard understand and acknowledge that vaccination requirements and international travel restrictions could prevent some guests from attending our wedding. Please know that we understand if you will not able to attend. We miss you and hope to see you at a later date.

Blocks of rooms are not reserved at Marriott hotels, but if Hilton Pasadena and Hyatt Place Pasadena rooms are not preferable, the Marriott chain of hotels is a good choice because its locations are within walking distances of the venue.
